Define Your Notary & International Documents Instruction
Prepare documents for their intended destination, institution and authentication route.
Checking Document Destination Requirements
Ask the receiving institution what format, signatures and authentication it requires before arranging a document service. Explain the destination, purpose and any template already supplied. Certification, notarisation and further authentication are different steps and should be scoped to the actual requirement.
Keep the institution instructions and any rejection correspondence available. Ask who prepares the document and who handles later authority or consular steps if needed. A generic promise that a document works everywhere should not replace a destination-specific check.
Preparing Remote Signing Instructions for Kenya
Explain where each signer is located, what is being signed and who receives the document. Identify identity checks, representative authority and any requirement for originals. A remote instruction should make the proposed signing method and the receiving party expectations clear.
Ask whether witnessing, notarisation, legalisation, translation or courier delivery is relevant and included. Advice in another jurisdiction may require an appropriately qualified local professional. Agree responsibility for each step so a draft is not treated as a completed formal process.
Compare the Proposed Work
Agree which documents are reviewed, what advice is supplied and who handles follow-up. Clarify costs, assumptions and any separate specialist work. Identify deadlines and how changes will be reported.
