Checking Law Firm Rankings in Kenya

A ranking is useful only when you can identify who published it, when it was researched and which legal practice and market it covers. A firm listed for one category should not automatically be treated as ranked for every service. Follow the publisher link and read the entry rather than relying on a copied badge.

Searches for best law firms in Kenya, top 20 law firms and Tier 1 firms express a comparison question; they do not establish a universal result. Review the publisher methodology, the current edition and the actual advocate proposed for your file. This WKA-branded website is not an independent ranking directory.

Checking an Advocate Before Giving Instructions

Ask for the name of the advocate responsible for your work, then check current practising information through the Law Society of Kenya. Confirm contact details through an established firm channel. A familiar firm name and a separately supplied payment instruction should not be assumed to come from the same source.

Professional status, relevant experience and proposed scope are separate checks. Ask who will supervise, who communicates with you and whether your matter has been accepted. Keep the agreed engagement documents so you can see what is included and how further instructions will be approved.

Compare the Proposed Work
